Well, we drove all over Exmoor - beautifull landscape, great small roads I loved its!! We went up Porlock Hill (the steepest hill in England!! (or only in Somerset?)), through Exford and round to Monksilver and eventually through Watchet and Blue Anchor. Up in Exmoor there are some roads where you can just go and go and go without getting to a junction for miles! (You only have to be careful because some lanes are quite narrow and you have to slow down when there's oncoming traffic). We even saw some Exmoor Ponies and some rabbits^^
I had such a lot of fun!!!
Surprisingly no problems at all with driving on the left or changing gears with my left hand!!
Even though I hadn't driven for almost a year, it was as if I never stopped driving!
(What a lot of exclamationmarks^^)
Cliff, the driving teacher said, I drove perfectly, as if I had driven on the left loads^^ ...I got such a lot of compliments for my driving style, like going into the bends perfectly and everything^^ afterwards Cliff joked he could have drunk a beer somewhere - I could have driven him home since I got a licence!^^
I have to say, I love driving on the left, can't I just stay?^^ And I'm so looking forward to do some more driving at home^^
